Amazing location!
We stayed for 3 nights and had a blast. The rooftop pool with a view of Sugarloaf Mountain was a highlight! Breakfast was great, but the room felt a bit cold since there was no remote for the A/C. Easy to grab a cab outside too. Plus, the bar area by the pool was chill.

Modern design of interiors in triple room. Sensational and great breakfasts with mainly very tasty scrambled eggs. Location: particularly good, just next door to the bus stations and many attractions.

The pool was lovely and I had strong drinks in the rooftop bar. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, especially slices of fresh bread and eggs. The location was particularly good and stunning in the central area.

Early check in and late check out. Brand-new, good sized room with a view over Copacabana, a large double bed and a pretty nice bathroom, and incredible location...

Good area, great and stunning location, close enough to roof top bar and restaurant too and Copacabana palace. Exceptionally comfortable bed, large bathroom and climate control, a personal safe and a flat-screen TV in the room.

The staff were quite helpful. The room was very clean. You could go up to the roof for some great views of Copacabana beach & you could even see Corcovado (Jesus statue) in the distance. They have a pool & a bar with reasonable prices on the roof as well. The breakfast buffet has everything you could want & plenty of it. It was included in the price. The hotel provided free chairs, towels & umbrellas on the beach which is directly across the street. They have a guy who sets up your chair & umbrella for you. They also provide free shuttle service to the airport, which is not cheap normally. I went to see Paul McCartney when I was staying here & I was able to purchase a ticket through the hotel & also transportation to & from the concert. The hotel is great, but it is not cheap. The drawback is that they charge to use wifi. 50 reais, or 30 american dollars per day. That is ridiculous that you pay just under 300 dollars per night but they are charging an exorbitant amount for wifi when almost every other hotel is free for wifi. They need to change this policy. I did not use the wifi at that price.
Charging 30 american dollars per day for wifi, when the price of the hotel is already expensive. It should be included.

Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff where nothing was ever too much trouble. Fantastic Copacabana beach front location, opening the curtains every morning to that view was amazing. The breakfast was highly recommended in the reviews I read and I was not dissappointed, the eve buffet at the hotel was excellent and good value for money. The hotel is spotless and the downstairs bar serves the most amazing Caipirhinas!

Very close to the Copacabana beach front. Roof top with pool. Great view of the beach. Very good food. Staff speaks English Very good water pressure for showers. Safe provided.
You have to pay for Internet. Noise. The walls of the rooms are poorly insulated. This is typical of all contruction in South America. Except for newer buildings. Buffet meals are on the pricey. No body lotion provided in rooms. Iron was dirty and damaged one of my shirts. A/C noisy.

Beautiful sea view rooms, excellent concierge service, rooftop terrace with pool
The facilities look tired and dated!!! A coffee machine charging 9 real for each pod is excessive!!!

As majority of Rio hotels very expensive rates compared with a need for refurbishent plus poor design and finising of the rooms. But for day or two this is ok, for longer this hotel might be too claustrphobic. Very good breakfast, nice staff at the reception.
